Anderson Family

God has blessed us with the wonderful opportunity to have a beautiful, large family! We enjoy the challenges, laughter, love, and growth that come with parenting an amazing daughter in college, an outstanding son in high school, wonderful, although quite busy, boy/girl toddler twins, and a precious little baby girl with Down Syndrome! Life is full of adventure and discovery! We wouldn't have it any other way! We hope you enjoy the "stories" life presents us everyday! This journey is truly a gift!

Our morning

Whew, morning nap time! The house is quiet! I'm glancing around the table in wonder that only two toddlers could be the cause of all the strawberry muffin and egg debris on the floor! Breakfast must've been good! Daddy clearly let more "self'-feeding, or twin feeding" happen today :) It is actually fun to watch them feed eachother! That's the new rage! I guess they can see the target better!  Or maybe it's because they think what the other one has is somehow more delicious! It may come to a quick end if Cade bites down on Annabelle's little fingers! Sweet Abigail opened her little puffy eyes and sucked her first bottle down as if I hadn't fed her in days...she must've been dreaming of food during the night!

Shane slipped out the door to school with a huge "to go" cup of coffee..Must've been hard to get going! I tried to wave from the door, but somehow he used his ipod as an excuse not to notice, or claim, the woman in her pajamas who still tries to see him off as if he were 8 yrs old :) After a few yells of his name, I settled for sending him a text! Funny, I got one back, all while he was standing in the driveway! A sign of the times for sure!

All the babies and mommy enjoyed helping Daddy get off to work. Not sure how he would manage in the mornings without us! Annabelle got his shoes out of the closet and slipped her feet into them. To her surprise, a rush of authority and power raced through her little body..(just kidding, although she did shuffle around as if she had greater importance! :))  Cade was too interested in turning on the electronics in the bedroom to notice her! We finally all wound up on the porch to destroy the potted flowers while we waved goodbye!  We'll see what the day holds!
